Some of you may know
exactly what this embroidery implement is (no, it's not a pen). Well, you're far more clued in than I was when the lovely folks at
JR Crafter contacted me to review their Laying Tool.
What, all these years embroidering, and I'd never heard of it? It happens. :)
So, if you're like me, and have no clue what this lovely doohicky is, or how you might use it, I'm giving you advance notice so you can check out Mary Corbet's extremely helpful overview:
What's a Laying Tool.
Because maybe, just maybe, we'll be doing a giveaway of this lovely tool in,
oh about a week or so.... :)
Ooo like the colour of it, I have one in sterling silver with two ends, though not as sharp as this one.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness- I have been searching for something like this, but having little luck because I didn't know what such a tool would be called! I'm so happy In saw this post today, thank you!
ReplyDeleteOh, that's a beautiful laying tool. I've just always used a needle.
ReplyDeleteI have an entire collection of laying tools. I love them and they really do come in handy if you're working with multiple strands of thread and you want to keep them from twisting together. The one pictured is beautiful! I don't have anything quite that pretty. :-)
ReplyDeleteI did not know there was such a tool. I always have used my needle but this would be way nicer to have. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteAprendi um pouco mais! Obrigada!
ReplyDeleteUm abraço!
