Butterfly chain stitch
Stitched by het groene kamertje
Before I saw this little sampler by Audrey, I had no idea what a Butterfly chain stitch was. I adore the gorgeous bright colors and all the beautiful texture in this piece. Wonderful work, Audrey!

It was in TAST three weeks ago, and I fell in love with it. Such a cool and useful one!
ReplyDeleteGreat video and nifty little stitch! Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteOh my! I want to stich this on EVERYTHING now! Thank you for the tutorial.
ReplyDeleteLooks like little haystacks!!
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw this stitch my mind just went nuts. I could couch the bright blue thread in between the stitches, with beads or sequins, to dress it up a bit. It has many applications and a lot of texture.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of the sheaf stitch. I can't wait to try it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the feature! And the compliment :)
ReplyDeleteI learned this stitch in the TAST challenge and I liked it a lot; will be using it much more I think!
