This is wonderful - the color, the design, all the different stitches!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am chartreuse with envy because I cannot even do one french knot!
Omigoodness that's crazy beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is insanely awesome!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you even start with a project like that??? In the center and move out?
amazing
ReplyDeletehow long? long enough to stop counting,
50hrs? 110? no idea
To say amazing is an understatement so I won't say anything. I'll just sit here with my mouth hanging open, speechless. :)
ReplyDeleteTime taken? For me, it would be one billion hours (me and french knots generally don't get along)
ReplyDeleteSince no one has posted a guess so far, I'll take a shot in the dark and say, um, 8 hrs? (I really have no idea)
What a gorgeous piece of work, love it.
ReplyDeleteAH-MAY-ZING. Holy crap. Seriously. I'm in awe.
ReplyDeleteamazing!!!
ReplyDeleteOh goodness! 9 hours? 12 hours? I love the "dreaded" French knots, now that I've searched every available online resource for video tutorials! Now that we've become friends, they actually go fairly quickly (once you're in the groove)! This work is stunning!
ReplyDeleteOOOhhh that is beautiful I want to go and pick those flowers. The colours and stitching are great. my very favourite of all the samples so far.
ReplyDeleteHi, everyone! Many thanks for all those lovely comments. I`m guessing it must have taken about 25 hours, spread over two weeks of stitching with the TV on. Happy stitching!
ReplyDeletedozydotes.
Thanks for saying hi, Anne! The colors and artistry in this are just amazing. :)
DeleteThat is too beautiful for words!
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible! What beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThis is stunning! Just the colors and design alone make it a beautiful piece of work, but realizing that it is made from only 2 stitches, and one of them is French knots, takes it to a whole new level. Now, knowing my own ability with French knots, I'd guess that this took an eon, but for someone who has clearly mastered the technique, I'd guess around 18 hours...
ReplyDeleteOH WOW! my first words when the page opened! I know it probably took her a while to do this ~ I'd say 25 hours?
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful and patient work!
Uff... es una autentica maravilla!! Me encanta el resultado. Es increible, de verdad!. Felicidades!!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's beautiful:)
ReplyDeleteWow that is amazing!!! My guess was going to be 16 hours. Definitely must have patience for 25!! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
