Charley Harper Water Drop Quilt

This is a quilt in progress but it's already so incredibly wonderful that I just had to share it with you! Of the 33 organisms in Charley Harper's original illustration Martha (a k a  Q is for Quilter) has appliqued and stitched 17 so far. Isn't the background fabric just perfect for this Water Drop project? Love the combination of applique and stitching too. Inspiring stuff! Read all about it on Martha's blog.

    Love this quilt. The colors is beautiful and the organisms are too cute! Can't wait to see it finished!
