What a great idea! Also good idea for a new baby hand/foot print with birthdate/birth announcement for the new parents or grandparents! Love! Thanks for posting!
I made one of these on a dish towel for my daughter--it has the handprints of my husband (grandpa), our granddaughter, and me. I love it. This one is awesome in a frame.
This is incredible. I have got to make one for my mother for Christmas. We live across the country from her and I think she would love to have one with her grand kids hands.
This is great :-) A nice memory when they grow up. When the kids were little, we dekorated in our hall with painted fingers - I cant remove or paint over it. It is a nice memorie :-)
Absolutely ADORE this idea - and loved reading comments and discovering that others are doing/have done it, as well! I would add only one thing - a small heart in the center of the palms!
I have already got the ball rolling to gather the hands of our son, his wife and new baby to make this for DILs birhtday coming in Sept. What a perfect gift! Thanks so much for sharing!
I have triplet grandbabies, two boys and a girl, going to try and to make one of these for their mother's birthday, July 21st. Guess I'd better be getting ready.
So cute! What a lovely idea.

ReplyDeletedepending on how many grandkids you have, you could trace their hands in a heart wreath shape, overlapping slightly to be a cute design of a heart....
