I've decided to transfer my pattern using water soluble stabilizer. I simply traced the pattern onto the stabilizer and secured it with my hoop. I decided to start the middle to anchor the fabric and the stabilizer. After I am completely finished I wills wash away the stabilizer and have a wonderful piece of embroidery...I should probably stop here, before I get ahead of myself.
I can't wait to see how everyone stitches up this wonderful Spring shower.
I love it! That is adorable! Can't wait to start!

Muy lindo tu bordado, gracias por compartir.
ReplyDeleteThis is my favorite way to transfer designs. I also use a temporary, water soluble adhesive if I don't hoop. This is especially handy if you are transferring to fabric that is not a smooth finish! NOTE: use an INDELIBLE marker so that the ink doesn't run when you rinse out the stabalizer! I use a Sharpie.
ReplyDeleteWow it looks like you just drew it on there. Very beautiful work!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute! I am very new to embroidery, what stitch would be best for a beginner like me?
