Wanna Stitchalong With Us?

We couldn't help but be inspired by the awesome Doodle Stitchalong last month, and if there was one thing that you guys requested when we asked you what you wanted to see more of - it was stitchalongs!

So, wanna stitchalong with me this month for Feeling Stitchy's first-ever stitchalong?

Yes? Well then you'll need this vintage pattern, generously shared with us by Claudia of Stitchado:

Ready? Collect your ideas, threads, and your fabric and be ready to meet me again this Friday for the first part of our first-ever February stitchalong!!! :)

Hi, I'm floresita, editor of Feeling Stitchy. I'm an avid stitcher, knitter, and crafter. You can see more of my stitching on Instagram and my blog. My vintage transfer collection is on Vintage Transfer Finds.

Feel free to email me with any ideas for the blog!

  1. This is so beautiful! I would love to stitch it along the edge of a tablecloth, with a really nice trim, but for now I may just settle for knocking just one motif out on what I hope will be my snow day.

  7. this is such a cute pattern! i am envisioning the large mum-like flower on a cardigan or the small flowers down the buttons and button-holes of a cardigan... but i'm just learning how to embroider and i haven't quite got lazy daisy down (such a newbie). i think i will practice some more and then try embellishing some of my cardis. :)

  8. If I knew how to embroider...I totally would. This is beautiful and I'm sure to still be digging out of the Snowmageddon that is hitting Chicago right now (current snowfall is 10 inches and more to come). Pray for me folks....I'm gonna be forced to craft!

  17. I love the sound of this but I've never done a stitchalong - please can someone explain how it works? Are we meant to finish all at the same time or post photos of our progress, I'd love to take part, it sounds fun!

  20. I'm such a newbie with this but I love to hand stitch/embroidery/Redwork but what kind of threads/floss do I use? CONFUSED? What is cotton 40 or 50 WT " OR " pearl cotton 8 or 12 WT? What do I use & what's the difference? Any help from any one would be super.
