Patterns: Spring Always Comes

Spring Embroidery

Spring Embroidery by Septemberhouse

How's this for an embroidery to bring some optimism into the dark, dreary, post Christmas winter days before Spring? And something to cheer you up even more, this lovely pattern is free, thank you Septemberhouse! You can read about why Septemberhouse designed this piece and download the pattern here.

Gnome and mushrooms: motif #1PS I just thought I'd mention one more piece of pattern news this week, Aimee Ray and Lark Crafts have just started hosting the Doodle Stitch Along, where every Friday for four weeks they will be releasing one of their woodland motifs from Aimee's newest book, Doodle Stitching: The Motif Collection, on the Lark Crafts website (which unfortunately at time of blogging seems to be down, hopefully it'll be back up again soon). It certainly looks a fun stitch along!

  3. Oh I LOVE this. I need to make it! Thanks for sharing!

Someone sent me to your blog because I am trying to find out some more info on some blocks I embroidered for a quilt. I borrowed the pattern from someone and don't know who designed it, etc. If you get a minute would you stop by my blog and see if you know anything about it? http://www.alittlebitbiased.blogspot.com

This blog looks really fun. I will be back!
    Thanks!

  5. yet another lovely piece. Its a real treat following your blog. However could you tell me how pieces in the cirle thingys are finished off onthe back. I am exploring my needle and thread but don't know the best way to finish the back. Any advice would be welcomed.

  6. Looooooove the spring piece, such a perfect sentiment. I think I need to make one.

I noticed the stitch-along too, and have a printout sitting on my printer to get started on. Thanks for mentioning it, wouldn't want to miss out!
