Trust the Universe

poem cushion, originally uploaded by chunkychooky.

I like stitched words... This is lovely.

Have you stitched any words? Are you going to? Would you tag your pieces with 'stitchedwords'? To help find them.. :-)

  1. So cute Carina, is it hand embroidered? A very creative and new idea... may be I try sometime... but it looks great... My MIL did it on some pillows... sure I will show it sometime, thanks for sharing because with this I remember my Mil's work... Have a pleasant weekend..

  3. I LOVE stitched words (and letterpressed words, and embossed words and collaged words - you get the picture). My favorite that I've done so far is at http://www.flickr.com/photos/shinyhappyworld/3340365523/in/set-72157622876528312/.

  4. I love them too!! I made the "notebook paper" and stitched this up for our first anniversary. (Traditional anniversary gifts are "paper" for the first year.)

  10. This is really beautiful and a great idea! Will use it when I move to my new apartment.

However, when I first looked at it on my mobile, all I could see of the author was "Bruce Willi" and wondered if it was Bruce Willis and thought, wow, he's a lot more insightful than he seems :-P. Now I know better!
