These hand embroidered wedding invitations from Rifle Paper Co. are amazing. Anna Bond, the designer behind all of this lovely, created these invites for a Brooklyn couple that loves handmade. She embroidered the design directly onto the paper before hand painting the remaining elements. The completed design was then scanned and printed for the invitations. I think they're just perfect.
Wow, that is just amazingly beautiful! I am actually getting ready to embroider on paper for the first time, so this inspiration is coming at the perfect time. Also, I'm so happy to have found you guys here at Feeling Stitchy, because I've been feeling that way for awhile with no where to go.
ReplyDeleteI am definitely hand embroidering my wedding invitations if I ever get married! Such a great idea and I love her floral designs!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful. Stitching paper is so much more difficult by hand...she did an incredible job!
ReplyDeleteThat's amazing! What a really neat idea. It really makes it personal and something invitees will remember.

ReplyDeleteWhoa. At first I thought that they were individually embroidered. Scanned makes more sense.
