I wanted to share this beautiful mini quilt made by Liz, which I am sure all of you fellow quilting stitchers will appreciate.
The embroidery pattern is a favorite from the Wee Wonderfuls store. So do you participate in a quilting bee? I'd love to hear about it!
Great job, Liz!
Hope you're all having a wonderful week.
So sweet!
ReplyDeleteOh, how lovely!!! This is so beautifully done! Kudos to Liz.
ReplyDeleteCute! I participate in a Quilting Bee every year that is for a service organization in my community. There are about 30 groups that work all year long on quilts to donate and on the day of the Quilting Bee each group ties 1 to 2 quilts. The quilts are then donated to womens shelters, or groups that help battered women get a new start. This year there were almost 300 quilts turned in.
ReplyDeleteThat is so cute! I do not participate in a quilting bee.
ReplyDeleteI'm in 3 virtual quilting bees and am loving it! I'm new to quilting and embroidery and find that they're both very social hobbies! There are lots of great Flickr groups for quilting bees - check 'em out! Thanks for highlighting this, John. :)
ReplyDeleteI soooo love this! What a great idea.
ReplyDeleteSuper Sweet!
ReplyDeleteActually, I do, and I blogged about it today! Great timing, check it out! It is 12 of us ladies from the new LA Modern Quilt Guild!
