Stitched by Lisa's Tea Time
I just love the amazing variety of lines, colors, and textures on this. I'm also really impressed when people embroider anything freehand on Aida cloth - for some reason I find the large weave intimidating for freehand work... Bravo, Lisa!
That's lovely. What great colours.

ReplyDeleteWOW! WOW! WOW! Friggen awesome!!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe my little sampler is featured on Feeling Stitchy!?! I'm going to call everyone I know, seriously!
Thank you for your comments, I really didn't know what I was doing when I started on this piece of fabric... I had just gotten out of hospital (June 2009) and was on bedrest, I needed something to keep my hands and mind busy, and always wanted to learn embroidery.
After I got the basics, I just started doodling little bits of this and that...
flowers & stars
dog bones
a tea cup
a little house
wedding rings
a beer for my husband (that's my fav!).
I had, and still have no plans for this little scrapper, am open to suddestions...
Have a great day, I feel so happy to have something featured here, I've been a fan of this blog forever...Weeeeee!

Yeah, Aida's kind of hard on freehand, but there's a lot of counted stitches you could sampler!
