Howdy Partner!
Twilight Zone embroidery
Stitched by giddygirlie
Yep, that's Mr. Rod Serling up there, and apparently, Ms. giddygirlie stitched this from a drawing by Scott Campbell. I love that this is just in time for the 50th anniversary of the show's first episode. Can't wait to catch a marathon and watch at least 5 in a row!

Soapy portraits
No, nothing to do with washing your face or clothes. But embroidered portraits of some of the characters of English soap 'Eastenders'. Now, I must admit that, although I live in England, I don't think I have ever watched a single episode of this, very long-running, show.
However, I can definitely appreciate the cross-over between pop culture and stitching. Especially when the stitching is this good!

One beautiful tree
OK, full disclosure - this is one of my designs. I hope noone minds that I post it. ;-)
I just thought I'd shine a light on evilsarah's beautiful stitching and the amazing colour and background combination. It is a great example of how a background colour can really make the colours 'pop'. I can't stop staring at it!
Floresita here to chime in and say what Carina is too modest to say: if you love this beautiful pattern, visit Carina's Etsy store. :)

Elvis Costello pillow
Stitched by Kiah Grey
Wow. You peeps are really stitching up some awesome Sublime Stitching-inspired portraits! They make me all kinds of happy!
Gun stitches
I think guns are scary. OK, maybe it's more people with guns that are scary. Still, I find it difficult to appreciate guns as 'innocent' objects...
But here is a portrayal of a gun that you can't help but like. If nothing else for the incredible stitching. There's an impressive amount of it and the colourings make it look very 3D.

Go hand embroiderers!
Stitched by jenni waterloo
Here's Ms. Jenni Waterloo, showing all the hand embroiderers out there how it's done. When I first saw her embroidered version of one of Sublime Stitching's old ads, I nearly flipped. This time I double-flipped. It's too, too awesome!

Portrait of a Lady
Stitched by Amanda Panda Pants
Wow, just love this. Another thing you gotta love about Ms. Amanda Panda Pants is how she really rocks those fill-in stitches. And yep, that's from the new Sublime Stitching book, Embroidered Effects. Need to get your hands on one? I'll have to do a giveaway for that soon!

Try to focus on the embroidered onesie
Stitched by Crystalyn Anne
What, is the unbelievably cute baby distracting you from the awesome embroidery she's modeling? Focus, people, focus! That's a cute Kurt Halsey bird on her onesie (yep, that's a Sublime Stitching pattern). Holy cuteness!

I Heart Fangs
Stitched by becksorange
I'm not sure which particular fang-show becksorange had in mind when she stitched this, but isn't it a great gift for all fang-lovers? I'm a Twilight and True Blood lover, myself. :)
